General Play Rules
Supervision Required
Parents or guardians must supervise their children at all times.
Grip Socks
Grip socks are required for both children and accompanying adults inside play areas. Maison Grip Socks are available for purchase at reception for R40 per pair.
Age-Appropriate Zones
Mini Maison is specially designed for little ones under three — a gentle space for early exploration and sensory play. Babies are welcome to explore other play features under parental supervision. Older children should use age-appropriate areas respectfully.
No Shoes, Food, or Drinks
To keep the play environment clean and safe, shoes, food, and drinks are not permitted inside play zones.
Play Etiquette
Gentle Play
Please avoid pushing, rough behaviour, or climbing on barriers.
Shared Toys
Children are encouraged to share and take turns while playing.
No Outside Toys
Outside toys are not permitted to prevent clutter, loss, or safety hazards.
Health & Sanitation
Illness Policy
Children who are unwell (fever, flu, vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing) should rest at home.
Clean Hands Before Play
Sanitizing stations are available throughout the venue.
Hygiene Maintenance
Our play equipment, toys, and surfaces are cleaned frequently throughout the day.
Play Structure Safety
Slide Safety
Slides must be used feet-first and one child at a time.
Climbing Structures
Children should attempt climbing areas only if they feel physically confident.
Toddler Zone Protection
Older children may not enter toddler areas to ensure the safety of younger guests.
Maison Management
Maison Play Café reserves the right to:
• Refuse unsafe or disruptive behaviour
• Temporarily close sections for cleaning or maintenance
• Enforce all rules and Terms & Conditions to ensure safety for all guests
